The World Cup is also referred to as the “Cup of Life” because it serves as the catalyst for the growth, popularization, and promotion of international football. The purpose of the World Cup is to promote and carry forward the “spirit of football”. Here is the match schedule of the 2022 FIFA World Cup I put together for you!

Match schedule of 2022 Qatar World Cup:

Group stage: November 21 — December 2, 2022

1/8 finals: December 3 — December 6, 2022

1/4 finals: December 9, 10, 2022

Semi-finals: December 13, 14, 2022

3/4 finals: December 17, 2022

Finals: December 18, 2022

The 32 teams are divided into eight groups of four teams each. Each team will face off against the other three teams in the same group once. At the end of 90 minutes’ match, the winner will get 3 scores; each team will get 1 score if it’s draw ; and the loser will get 0. The top two teams in each group with the most cumulative scores at the end of the group stage will qualify for the round of top 16, while the third and fourth teams will be eliminated.

Asia (6 places) : Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Japan, South Korea,

South America (4 places) : Brazil, Ecuador, Argentina, Uruguay

Central and North America and the Caribbean (4 places) : USA, Costa Rica, Canada, Mexico

Africa (5 places) : Ghana, Senegal, Cameroon, Morocco, Tunisia.

With less than two weeks until the start of the World Cup in Qatar, 32 teams have now been divided into eight groups through a FIFA draw. To qualify for the round of top 16, with a maximum of four teams per group, you must place in the top two in the group match. The opening match will take place on November 21 at Qatar’s Gulf Stadium, and the championship match will take place on December 18 at Qatar’s Lussel Stadium. Qatar, as the host of 2022 World Cup , did not compete in the qualifying matches and instead got a direct ticket to the tournament. The remaining 31 teams must compete in qualifying matches in their respective divisions. Germany is the first team to be awarded a ticket to the World Cup in Qatar, followed by Denmark. Europe has qualified the most teams for the World Cup, with 13 in total. On November 21, the 32 nations will participant in four matches in a row, for a total of 48 matches in the group stage and 64 matches in the World Cup. The winner will be announced on December 18, and fans worldwide will focus on it.

Scheduling rules for the Qatar World Cup

1. The 2022 World Cup will be held from November 21 to December 18. Per the scheduling rules of Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup, each team is permitted to send one player to represent their country.

2.Qatar is the host nation for 2022 World Cup and is permitted to send one striker due to it is not good at playing football.

3. During the group stage, each team may field 1 defender, 4 midfielders, 2 strikers and 1 midfielder, 2 defenders and 2 midfielders, 2 defenders and 1 midfielder, 2 defenders and 1 midfielder, 2 defenders and 1 midfielder, 2 defenders and 1 midfielder, 2 defenders and 1 midfielder, 2 defenders and 1 midfielder, 2 defenders and 1 midfielder.

4. During the main draw, each team can field two strikers and one defender, three midfielders, five midfielders, four defenders, five strikers, two midfielders, two defenders, and one striker.

5. During the knockout stage, each team can only field one striker on the pitch.

6. During the semifinal, four strikers can field the match. 4 midfielders, 1 striker, 2 defenders and 1 striker can only field once.
